So I've decided I need to be less perfectionistic about my blog.
I have so much to say...but I want to say it just right. And include pictures to create visual interest. And avoid boring everyone with too much talk of the kids' antics. Unfortunately, these desires often mean that I just don't post at all....which is certainly not a proven way to increase one's blog readership.
So.
I'm going to start posting more. Little posts. That may or may not include pictures. And if you don't like it, I may have to cry myself to sleep in my huge pillow. But that's okay. 'Cause at least I'll still have my blog.

I can't tell you how many times I have resolved this exact same thing. Good luck. I like hearing from you.
So glad I didn't have to follow you to twitter. Blogs are like chocolate, there when you need it and will lie in wait patiently so you can get back to it when the kids aren't looking.
I love reading your blog posts. Blog posts can be literary. They can be visually appealing. Sometimes they are both, but there is never a requirement for the two to coexist in order to "make it" to the blogosphere. Anyway, I like your words.
Rach--I don't think I could ever possibly be bored by tales of your children--even the most mundane things.
I love the well-crafted entries; but I just like hearing what's up with you.
Kudos on saying "no" to perfectionism! (Eh. You know what I just wondered to myself? If there was maybe a better way to express that.)
Too funny. I'll end on that.
I can totally relate to this. Although as you can probably tell fom my more recent posts, I've pretty much given up on the 'perfect' blog. It actually makes it a lot funner for me. Plus, I swear I get more reader response from my crappy posts that take 5 minutes to write.
